Frank Lucas, pictured here in the role of the one of the white settlers involved in the river attack which True Son aborted by warning the settlers. The horse Frank is holding was extremely recalcitrant, and Frank was the only one who could persuade him to enter the water. He was originally to play one of the Indians in this scene, but had to switch sides because of the horse.
